Kuga 1518 is a hip-hop dance crew that performs in a unique and inspiring movement, focusing on stunning visual delivery, improvisation and strong impact. The name of the crew originates from the event of the dancing plague that happened in year 1518 in the city of Strasbourg, France (plague translated to Slovene language is kuga). As the dancing plague was spreading in 1518, so the hip-hop crew wants to share their unique perception of dance as movement, performance and art throughout the wider public.

They are an important part of the Slovenian underground hip-hop dancing culture and are starting to produce their own performances and shows in different theatres. They regularly attend hip-hop battles and competitions across Slovenia and Europe.
